Coach Devon during his elementary school and high school years was a force to be reckoned with in Track and Field. He was a multi event athlete in the Sprints and Long Jump/Triple Jump and had tremendous success. An OFSAA Championship and hard work helped Coach Devon land a full scholarship to the University of North Iowa.
As an NCAA Div 1 Athlete Coach Devon exploded unto the scene running 10.19secs where he still owns the Missouri Valley Conference Record in the 100m. A past member of Canada’s Junior Track & Field Team has allowed Coach Devon to have the know how and experience to be a great Coach. We welcome Coach Devon to Running For Your Life – Scarborough.
RFYL – Clarington & Peel Region
Coach Cathy brings her passion and dedication to Athletes of all ages. She brings forth a professional perspective and tremendous focus on proper mechanics and technique. Coach Cathy combines her love for teaching kids and adults and educating them through skills specific training development, mental strategies and confidence as well as the benefits of fitness and nutrition to cultivate Athletes to their best potential. Under Coach Randy Brooke’s mentorship Coach Cathy is refining her skills as a Performance Coach and always striving to improve her own personal development.
She is not only a Coach with RFYL but also a Master Track Athlete who recently competed in the Canadian Outdoors Masters Championships and earned a Bronze medal in the 100m. She also competed in the Ontario Masters Outdoor Championships and earned a Bronze medal in the 100m and the 200m. Coach Cathy is a Certified Personal Trainer and provides Nutritional Coaching for Athletes and others seeking to perform at their best. Coach Cathy is a former Master Swimmer with the Clarington Swim Club and knows the value of hard work in and out of the pool.
RFYL – Peel Region
Coach Harold who was born in Florida comes from a Track & Field Decathlon background. He has competed at the NCAA Level and currently holds conference records in the Middle Eastern Atlantic Conference. His athletic background in throws, hurdles and jumps has created many opportunities for Coach Harold to work with throwers, pole vaulters and hurdlers at both the University and International levels.
One of Coach Harold’s significant accomplishments over his coaching career was being named to the USA’s World Youth Track & Field Team as an Assistant Coach in 2015.He has recruited and Coached for Universities across the South Eastern United States such as Florida A&M, BCU, MVSU and Georgia Southern University to name a few.
Coach Harold has sent athletes whom he personally coached to Div 1 NCAA schools in the conferences of the ACC, SEC, Big 12 and PAC 12 schools on Athletic Scholarship. Coach Harold also has been apart of a variety of team titles including Florida High School State’s Track and Field Championships in 2005, 2012 and 2013, SWAC Championships in 2010 and 2011 for both Men & Women and also MEAC 2016 XC Championships (College Conference Titles). Coach Harold is looking forward to being a part of the Gazelle & Running For Your Life Team.
RFYL– Durham & Peel Region & RFYL Owner
From breaking provincial and national records in Ontario and Canada, to holding 4 different youth world records as a sprinter, Randy has enjoyed great success as a young Track & Field athlete.
Recruited from several universities across North America including Notre Dame, TCU, Harvard, the University of Toronto and UCLA, Randy signed a 5 year athletic scholarship with UCLA and joined one of the greatest academic and athletic universities in the world.
Randy was coached by John Smith, arguably one of the greatest sprint coaches in history and had the privilege to train and work with Trinidadian Ato Boldon (Olympic 100m Silver medalist and World 200m Champion),American Maurice Greene (previous 100m World Record Holder and Gold Medalist Olympian) and French star Marie-José Pérec (200m & 400m Olympic Gold Medalist) among others.
Competing successfully at a high level coupled with years of sports training know how has made the transition of star athlete to high level sports performance coach rather seamless for Randy Brookes. Coach Randy Brookes is a certified sprint coach and is ready to share his wealth of knowledge to athletes looking to enhance their performance and reach their next level.

GAZELLE TRACK & FIELD CLUB
Achieving Peak Performance and competing at a High Level is a skill set that doesn’t happen over night. The Gazelle Track & Field Program is specifically designed to assist each athlete to develop their skills by teaching them the correct biomechanics, technique and mental strategies of Running, Field Events and Competition.

SUMMER OLYMPICS SPORTS CAMP
The Olympic Sports Development Camp is perfect for the beginner, intermediate and advanced level athletes who are interested in improving their game. This camp will be filled with skill development, drills and games from our skilled coaching staff. The Sports Performance Coaches will challenge your child to improve their sport skills in a fun learning environment. The skills that will be learned coupled with confidence building techniques, will help your child improve their sports performance as well as positively impacting their everyday life.
Join RFYL’s Cross Country Program and learn how to master the skills needed to be successful. Included in the program are skill sets such as learning how to run in large groups at meets, endurance, diet, speed, running on all types of terrain, confidence and much more!

The Run & Be Healthy program introduces young children
to the activity of running and living a healthy lifestyle. The sessions will be held
in clinics and is comprised of games and fun activities related to running.
Designed especially for YOU and only You. One-on-One Personal Training is an experience where You and I get to the bottom of where you are and where you want to go concerning your fitness and health needs. From Meal Planning to Training Side By Side with You, the one-on-one package comes with all the bells and whistles!
Tuff Runna Fitness Bootcamp is a fun, action packed workout
facilitated by Certified Coaches of RFYL. The fitness bootcamp consists of Olympic style workouts that focuses on strength, speed, conditioning, and weight loss. The bootcamp is designed for beginners and intermediate level athletes who are looking to establish a routine in a safe and fun setting.
Tuff Runna Kids Bootcamp is designed for kids who would rather be on their phone, computer or couch watching TV. It’s a healthy and fun environment for kids to stay active in. Activities range from speed and strength drills to obstacle styled workouts.
